Sharing purchases and pots across devices

Hello,
I bought Pottery for my MacBook and my iPad thinking the two devices would share my pots, brushes, colors, materials etc. but they don't. I started on MacBook and have quite a few tools now, but when I bought the application (again so to speak) and installed it on my iPad I had nothing there.
How can I make them be "the same potter"?
