Sounds great  I look forward to any new additions to what is my favourite game of all time. If I see an update for IQuarium waiting when I access the app store, I get really exited :!:

Waiting for it. Sounds like a great update.
"Moving items" is one of the new features I am more excited about. This will make your "iQuarium" more unique.

I'd like some feedback from the fish ...... I don't know whether they're playing or annoyed half the time. I know you get standard messages based on how long it is since you last visited, but reaction to certain actions made by the fish owner would be good (not sure how you would do it!).

I am glad you are working on another update! :D So far, it seems to me the game has ended because after the Pagoda there is no other item available... I keep adding points but, for the moment, I don't know what for.
I hope the update will be available for the iPhone 3GS too

If feedback is added to a future update, it would be nice for it to be optional and not just added please. :)

Like a button you could click to find out "mood" of the two fish? That would be OK. It would also be nice if the game recognized the second fish. I often get "you are the owner of one happy fish!". What about my second fish? Maybe it isn't happy at all. Yes, what we need is a button per fish to find out the mood of that fish. It doesn't have to be anything complicated like statements - just a few possible colours maybe to represent "moods" ie red means fish is annoyed, blue, bored and depressed, yellow happy and healthy, green could be frightened and feeling harassed at its owner who keeps tapping it hard when it wants to relax quietly behind a rock you just got rid of :D

It is Dec 2 2010. Just purchased Iquarium for the IPad. Saw this forum and immediately feared there would be no more program. The last update was August. I'd love to be able to move things around. But I also hope you'll fix a few little crashes. I do enjoy the artistry of the program.

The big update for iQuarium is coming closer. Only few days to go. Please find some time to check our new theme icons. From now on we will publish one graphic per day to move your imagination.

What do you think, what can hide behind this sweet icon?

My initial response was: I LIKE!!!!! I like being able to move the goodies around. and swapping them out is faster and easier than before. It took me a bit to figure out what the two arrows are at the top right, but I managed that.
But, tonight, when I went to feed my fish, and tapped on the food container, I got a red smudge on the container. the fish didn't seem to respond, nor did any food seem to appear. is this supposed to happen? :?:

How can I feed my fish?
Tap on the tank icon in the bottom left corner of the screen and tap on "Fish Food". Go back to your aquarium. Now an icon of food should be displayed in the top right corner of the screen. To feed your fish tap on the food container and then tap on the place where you want to drop the food - don't forget this important step!

If you didn’t check the new update for iQuarium, maybe this new theme icon will convince you to do this. We also love to hear from our community what do you think about such small masterpiece :)

The new updates are wonderful. Thank you all for your hard work on this program. I run iQuarium on my phone while it sits in a charging dock on my desk during the day.

I do have a question regarding interacting with the fish. Prior to the update I was able to 'interact' with the fish by tracing my finger along the screen. When my finger touched the screen the fish would immediately turn toward my finger and follow along as I moved around the screen. That doesn't seem to be happening now.

Was this feature disabled in the new update?

I noticed the same thing, and in fact I miss that interaction! I loaded the newest version on my iTouch but because of the lack of interaction, I have not loaded it onto my iPhone4...I would rather have the interaction with my fishes than the new bells and whistles.

I hope the devs put the interaction back in the next update.

hm, they still interact with me. BUT it is not as pronounced as it was in the earlier version. it takes 'em a bit longer to follow my finger around, and they seem to lose interest sooner. But they do interact.

Fish interaction depends from the level of happiness. Try to feed your fish regularly to have best effect.

I really miss the interaction too. So much so that this is becoming a less interesting program to me. I feed the fish two or three times a day but they still seem to ignore my finger when I trace it across the screen. I strongly preferred the previous version where the fish would snap to attention when I touched the screen.

I also preferred the previous method of feeding, which seemed more authentic and realistic.

iQuarium update with Christmas themes hits the App Store. Your fish deserves new decorations to celebrate that special time of year! Please download 1.90 version via iTunes or App Store.

I have been feeding my fish at least once per day, often more than once per day, since I bought the app on 9/30/2009. Yes, the fish notice my finger but no longer follow it as vigorously as they used to. If this is the best effect we will now have, I have to agree with LSG01...this is a much less interesting program without the interaction. :(

I have not yet updated to 1.90 as there is something wrong with the App Store in that it is not offering any updates to apps at this time.

I missed not being able to hear the tapping sound when you used to "knock" on the glass, but I much preferred the AI of the new model of fish. They no longer behave like robots, you have to work a bit harder to get them to follow your finger and this is much more how real parrot fish behave. Since the update to include the tapping sound again, I suspect they've been made more responsive ....... but please don't make them like robotic machines. I like having to try harder to get some response, and not just the automatic reaction as though they didn't have any brain of their own at all.

overall, I like the way it works now. But I find having to tap on the food for each piece to be very tedious.
To make it less so, I tap on two separate points at the top of the tank. I sometimes succeed in having the fish twirling around in separate circles, rather than moving in unison with each other.
But, I find the update on the points that is presented after starting the app is so small, that I cannot read it.
I really hope you'll increase the font size on that with the next update.

That's good to hear! I still have iquarium, but no longer use it as it became too boring just doing the same old stuff each time. I'd really like to play it again and my fish would love an update!
